S🌸XY Spray Vinegar (spicy)

Ingredients: Rambutan Vinegar, Hawaiian Chili, Annatto Seeds, Wild Harvested Sea Salt 

Do you notice anything missing from this hot sauce? Garlic.... we find that chilis are actually quite fruity when you let their pure flavor notes shine. That is what makes this sauce so special, its more of a bright red spicy vinegar than it is a hot sauce. 

This concept is not new to us, a pure hot sauce that can swing both savory or sweet. We can even put this in our water! BUT WHAT IS NEW is the spray bottle concept. Shannon has been wanting to do a spray hot sauce for years, its wild how the seeds of an idea can be planted many moons ago only to manifest when the weather is right. The weather here being our own personal frequencies and thoughts. After all, the outer world is a reflection of our inner worlds. 

Since we have been diving into the concept of Culinary Cosmetics, we started having our glass dealer order these spray bottles for our hair sprays (Lemon for blonde, Guava Leaf for growth, Banana Peel for waves)... and of course the next step is to use those bottles for this seed that had been planted years ago. First, we bottled our best selling hot sauce, Lava Hot, in the spray bottle. Obviously, many creations have the potential to be my favorite, but Lava Hot legit is. What is different about Lava Hot is that it has Garlic and habaneros, very classic hot sauce flavors but with a Sour Flower Vinegar base. Hot sauces are vinegar based so the vinegar is actually quite important! Most use white distilled or ACV, which is fine, def does the job.. but a Rambutan vinegar?! Yum. So that said, hot sauce does not typically get associated with sweet treats or your water... but that is where S🌸XY Spray changes the game. 

We have been paying very close attention to our thoughts and words, only giving energy to those that serve us. Naturally, we were pondering the word Hot and how it gets associated with hell, the both start with Hs. Then we compared Sexy to Hot, S for Shannon :) A few days later it occurred to me that Hot sauce could also go by Sexy sauce, but this is in spray form.. omg S🌸XY Spray. I said it out loud and thought "how ridiculous", would you really name it that?!? When I told him this idea he absolutely loved it and that is how S🌸XY Spray got its name.

The point is that this is revolutionary. A hot sauce with a fermented whole fruit vinegar base, no garlic, and in a spray bottle?!?! Nothing gets us more stoked than novelty. 

Another S🌸XY aspect of this vinegar spray is that it is made from all things red. It is meant to be eaten sweet or savory. This would go lovely over anything that traditional hot sauce would BUT also chocolate pie, fruit, even baked goods. 

Red represents beauty. The annatto seeds naturally bring out warm hues in our skin and the color is grounded in the root chakra. Red food = action and productivity.

The best part is, we accidently released this on Valentine's day. It is not something we typically celebrate, sounds cliche or whatever, but we cherish our love everyday. It inspired me to work on a Peanut Butter Chocolate Protein Pie though!! We've been focusing on increasing protein intake and lowering our fat (used to eat so much mayo, whole fat yogurt, whipped cream, etc....) so this pie is my attempt to have our cake and eat it to. Ill drop a recipe blog if it works out, but in the meantime, enjoy the sketch and process of an idea seed being planted.
