Awapuhi Vinegar Shampoo

Awapuhi is a type of ginger known for its viscous clear liquid held in the flower. It has been used for centuries as shampoo for its cleansing effect. Now what better way to preserve this liquid than with vinegar?! Vinegar is great for stripping years of product residue from you hair but typically people dont like the smell. We used a tangerine vinegar that was fermented from the whole fruit so its smells extra citrusy and gingery. Rosemary is also a hair superpower so we through a few sprigs of that in there for good measure.

 This is so nice, I've been using it as a face wash too!!

 My hair feels so silky smooth and my natural oils have been returned. Turns out my hair falls differently when all the oil isn't stripped from it from "all natural" shampoo that has more than 20 ingredients. Turns out we don't need that!
