Garlic Banana Vinegar Sauce

Garlic Banana Vinegar Sauce

Shannon Wiener

This creamy, sweet, and tangy sauce is the perfect substitute for mayonnaise or Alfredo. The bold garlic and oregano mask the banana flavor, resulting in a unique umami sauce that delivers a familiar yet exciting taste you'll love!

You can amp this up even more by adding chipotle, chili peppers, or other spices. We enjoyed the sauce on pizza, and it was absolutely delicious! This would be tasty with pasta, in a salad dressing, with French fries, on a burger... the list goes on.

Ingredients:

2 large bananas

1/3 cup olive oil

1/3 cup vinegar

5 cloves garlic

5 large leaves of Mexican oregano (or 2 tsp of powdered oregano)

1/2 tsp salt

Blend ingredients until smooth and enjoy!
